I spent the last week with my 3 friends, Stathi, Vito and Joey in Nelson Bay; a small town north from Newcastle. Known for its beautiful beaches, clear water, warm weather and not so much for its nightlife.. There were more families with kids and heavy weight mums than trees in the Tomaree National Park.
Luckily there were enough other ways of entertainment besides trying to spot local female Nelson Baynians. Oh there was one, she worked at a bakery and called me 'sweetheart' from the moment I walked in.
Stathi bought a Kayak (good on 'm), I bought a snorkel AND I brought my camera (good on me). But no underwater cover. Because those things are way to cheap for me (about $1.700).
Anyways, highlight (dark) was staying up all night to then go in the dark at 4am on my bicycle without brakes to Tomaree point to then climb a mountain w a little torch and spider(web)s in my face to take photos of the sunrise. Enjoy! Damnit.
